So this week I am reading….

The brief moment where their gazes met held him in a vortex. All sound drowned out around him and only Jenna filled his line of vision. Gone were the rushing crowds, the voice over the PA system. He heard and saw nothing but Jenna..

Oh to be looked at like that!

 Elemental Heat by Cristal Ryder

Jenna takes a big risk and decides to live in the moment. After months of communication by social media, she accepts an invitation to Colorado where she finally meets her cowboy. Burned by past romances, Jenna is determined to move on and goes with one goal in mind-a booty call with a tall, dark, sexy cowboy. Chet is a romantic at heart and when Jenna arrives, he knows there’s more to her than a pretty face and a hot body. A casual fling won’t do. He’s smitten and decides to woo her the old-fashioned way with time and patience. And of course, hot sex. Their chemistry is elemental and they come together with heat that sears the snowy peaks. When Mother Nature steps in, Jenna is forced to face the feelings she’s tried so hard to keep buried and Chet has to draw on his mountain skills to save the woman he has come to love.

So this week I am reading….

Finding Hope: Pool of Souls #2 by Krystal Shannan

Warning: The plot thickens with a passel of pissed off Olympians. Ares and Aphrodite are in for a double dose of trouble! More Olympians join the mix in Finding Hope: Pool of Souls Book 2. A jewel addict, a kick-ass possibly-virgin huntress, and an insatiable ancient oracle are just a few. But don’t worry; Ares and Aphrodite are still front and center.

Addison Connelly has given up on men. She is disappointed yet again when her best friend tries to play matchmaker, and the match falls flat…or does it? Her friend knows all Addison needs is a chance, a little hope, and maybe a dropkick in the right direction. With an extra push from Aphrodite, will this lonely soul learn to trust again? Or will she run from the only man who could make her happy?

Adrian Colter, Nashville Police Detective and certifiable bachelor, puts his foot in his mouth in a big way when his roommate’s fiancé tries to match him up with her best friend. After making a horrible first impression, can he earn the trust of a woman who won’t speak a civil word to him?

Adrian isn’t the only one trying to earn the trust of a beautiful woman. While Ares fights to rebuild the trust he lost thousands of years ago with the Goddess of Love, his parents do what they do best —show off their greed and selfishness. Will he find the hope and forgiveness he so desperate seeks or will his parents destroy his chance at happiness?

…“Ummm. I’d really like to get up now.” Addison lifted her head and peered into a pair of gorgeous blue eyes. Damn. Maybe not. Dark brown hair framed his face and a little bit of stubble created a very sexy, somewhat brooding look. He reminded her of Ian Somerhalder who played Damon Salvatore, her favorite character on the TV show Vampire Diaries. Swoon-worthy for sure.

So this week I am reading….

Trapped Under Ice by M.J. Schiller

Rock star Chad Evans’ tortured past hides just beneath the surface. Even fans screaming out his name in ecstasy can’t drown out the screams of his childhood. He can usually keep it under control, but not always. Tonight the alcohol doesn’t seem to soothe. Part of the crowd, Beth Donovan smiles, really enjoying herself for a change. But her smile isn’t usually this bright. It is the kind of smile that masks sorrow. Three years just isn’t long enough to get over losing Paul. When a vicious attack behind stage brings this unlikely pair together, something changes inside of them both. But can a jet-setting superstar and a Midwestern lunch lady ever manage a real relationship? And even if they can, will the person sending Chad death threats take it all away? Or is it their fate to remain forever trapped under ice?

She turned away from the door with a sly grin. “Oh,” Beth returned coyly. “You think my ass is sweet?” She took a few steps toward the bed, her bare legs feeling chilled. What he said next had her stopping for a second.
His voice purred in the unique way that was totally Chad. “Baby, sweet doesn’t even begin to describe your ass.”…

I love it when a guy purrs, don’t you? 😉
