I’m so sad that the trilogy is over. *sniff* This was definitely one of the best series that I have read in a while and to think it’s labeled New Adult but I found it better to NOT label it. Rose and Derek have a love that transcends time for me. *warning* Please read the series in order. Not only will it make better sense, you will understand why I’m making this installment a Best of 2013. Trust me…
They are together, then pulled apart, only to come together again and the whole time they are fighting an evil that truly never expect to ever fight against. A parent. Rainbow is truly one mean bitch and will stop at NOTHING to get what she wants.
This time Rose has to rescue not only Derek but his brother Dean due to Rose accidentally sending them to hell. Its heartbreaking but we get to meet a demon, Blake, that actually has a soul. I loved Blake. Even though he was in love with Rose and didn’t have a shot, he truly did care and wanted to help her. I can’t wait for his book to come out and find out more about him. 🙂
I was truly exhausted after reading the last installment. There is action, suspense, romance, HOT smexy times (not for the timid) but they truly do enhance the story between Rose and Derek. Will true love and the love that hey have in their hearts save the others but more importantly themselves? Plus will Rainbow finally be brought down for good? You must read it to find out.
I will leave you with this…Ms. Kinrade wrapped up Rose and Derek’s story beautifully and poignantly. Splendid job and I can’t wait for Blake’s and Ocean’s stories to come out.

Thank you for this lovely review and for making it one of your recommended reads. I love your stamp! And I’m so glad you loved the series. I cried writing some parts. I’ll also tell you that soon there will be a novella that is a prequel to the series, showing the backstory of Rainbow and Derek called Seduced by Beauty and also a sequel novella that is a standalone story with Rose and Derek AFTER Power ends. It’s called Seduced by Magic. Both should be out within a month.
And of course, there will be Derek’s book and eventually Ocean’s book and Ocean will be in the Fallen Trilogy starting with Blood of the Fallen, so you’ll get more of some of these characters 🙂
