Review:

I’m wrung out…tired…emotionally wrecked…totally in love with this series.  There is so much going on so I’ll only hit the highlights.

The quotes at the beginning of the chapters are great.  The tell their own story within the story.  I’m sure this reference has been said…there are a lot of elements that mirror the dramas of Shakespeare.  Two families; star crossed lovers; great supporting characters and a villain that is just too evil.  And I thought I had issues with my own mother.  Good lord…I don’t slapping her would do any good.  She might actually enjoy it.

Rose’s friend Ocean is O.M.G. excellent.  In fact, in all of my readings, Ocean is the perfect side kick, friend, support system that I’ve gotten to know.  Not overpowering, just the right amount of support that our poor Rose needs.

Rose’s mother needs to be put out of her misery NOW!!!  I never knew someone could write a character so twisted, so evil, so truly despicable that I’m in awe of Ms. Kincade.  Truly masterful.

The romance between Rose and Derek is erotic, heartbreaking and I’ve never known two people more in love than these two.  I cheered for them, cried for them and pray that everything works out for them in the last book.  With everything that they have endured, they deserve some happiness.

I so CAN NOT wait for the conclusion of one of the best paranormal series that I’ve read.  Oh and I can’t forget… witches!  I love witches!
