My, my, my.  What a delicious book to read.  And yes, I’m claiming Troy right now so back off ladies!  Talk about a sexually tension filled book with the tried and true friends to lovers trope.  The only thing about Troy and Erin’s story was the fact that these two never knew what hit them from the beginning.  I love it when the h/h don’t have a clue.

Troy is about as perfect as they come.  Truly…loves his family, his co-workers and would do anything for anybody.  I could totally understand why he kept thinking that Erin was too “risky” after the h*ll that he had been through with his girlfriend Jamie.  My heart broke for him at that point.  But my man Troy was always holding back on his previous life with Jamie, too.  If Troy had one flaw it was that he wasn’t totally honest with Erin about his wild days.

Erin Go Braugh!  Love that.  Sweet and sexy nickname for her.  Erin was a lot like me in my 20’s.  I had my heart broken severely and do risky things to take away the hurt.  I got her from the beginning.  And like her, I had a guy wingman but mine was married and his wife thought it was hilarious.  🙂  And like Erin, I was close to my family and they never let me forget that I could love again and be loved.  *sigh*

Some of the dialogue between them was funny, sexy and emotionally.  A few of my favorite moments:

1.  The sexting at the bar.  OMG…hilarious!

2.  The towel scene at Troy’s house.  Good law Ms. Bielman!  I still want to lick him.

3.  The indoor rock climbing scene with Troy, Erin, Bree (Troy’s sister) and Amelia (Troy’s niece)

4.  The boat scene towards the end.  My heart broke…

5.  The beach scene between Luke (Erin’s brother) and Troy…*sigh*

Another thing that I loved about this book is the use of all of secondary characters.  Each one from Erin’s nemesis Candace to Troy’s niece and Frito were richly drawn out characters.  Each had a role in the book and Ms. Bielman uses them very nicely.  Never intrusive; just perfect.

As most know, I love category romances.  Yes, I started on Harlequin’s and still read them.  I’m in awe of category romance writers.  Ms. Bielman brings a freshness to the genre and her use of sexual tension…wow, you could cut it with a knife.  Troy and Erin steamed up the pages and they didn’t even know it.  Everyone else did which was great!

If you have never read an Entangled Bliss novel you are totally missing out.  Ms. Bielman has written a perfect novel of two people that needed to believe in themselves again, realize that sometimes there are no guarantees in love and sometimes the best person for you isn’t who you thought it would be.  *sigh*  Troy, oh my Troy…
