Okay, you know how I really hated a character from the first book? My loathing only got worse in this book. Lord, that Serena was a selfish woman. Thinking nothing of herself, not even Gabe was immune to her selfish ways. Grrrr…But here’s the good part about her (if there is one), this story revolves around Gabe and her sister Lea.
I know, I might have spoiled it for you but trust me, that’s nothing compared to what goes on during this story. Again, stuff blows up, people are shot at and on the run. What really got me this time was that I had NO CLUE at who the villains were and how certain people are connected. I love a good plot twist and Ms. Curry delivered. 🙂 Again, this book had the goods when it came to the romantic suspense element. True, it wasn’t as long as the first book but it still packed a punch.
The ending was as sweet as it could be. I hate saying that but it really was and it left me with a huge smile on my face. I will miss Gabe and Lea as the books move to Ireland for the rest of the series. Yes, I’m reviewing the whole series and no, Ms. Curry I still haven’t read the last one. I’m saving that one for the weekend before. I don’t want the series to end but a little birdie told that if I pay close attention to Devin’s book, I will meet someone new that “might” have a book out soon. Woo Hoo!!!!
