A book in the 1-800-DOM-help series.
Aria’s never acted on her secret need to give up her normally tight control—until one night, when a mysterious business card appears in a very personal place. For the first time in her life, Aria’s taking a chance on fate and the promise of a stranger to discover her veiled desires.
ER doctor Mac Hudson has always known who he is and what he wants. Now he’s looking for a sub to explore all the erotic cravings and fantasies he wants to share. One glimpse of Aria, and Mac’s ready to claim the petite sub in every way he can.
A single night of passion is all she expected. Now Mac’s asking for more, and Aria doesn’t know if her newfound naughty nature is up to the challenge.
Review:
I’m not sure if anyone besides me has found this series over at Ellora’s Cave but it is definitely worth a look. As alot of you know, BDSM is well over my limit to what I will read but for some reason this series caught my eye and I have read every one of them in the series and eagerly await the next one. That said, when I found out that my Princess friend Allie was taking on the challenge of writing a book for the series I was intrigued. Plus, I was listening to my naughty side of me.
If you following the Three Wicked Writers Plus Two blog, Allie is one of the writers on the blog. She wrote a two part blog on her experience at a Los Angeles BDSM club when she was there for the RT Convention in April. I highly recommend reading her blog posts regarding her adventures at the club. This is part 1 of her blog: http://threewickedwriters.blogspot.com/2011/04/behind-door-of-bdsm-club.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+3wickedwriters+%28Three+Wicked+Writers%29.
This is part 2 of her blog:

I highly recommend reading her blog posts first to get a feel for what the club is and how Allie set up the story. All that being said, I have never laughed so hard in my life reading a BDSM story. I know, I know typically BDSM books are not funny but if you have ever read Allie’s books, her heroines are full of snark and sometimes laugh out loud funny. Aria is no exception in this one. Aria decides that for once she doesn’t want to be in control in the bedroom. She’s tired of doing all the work and getting nothing out of it. When she finds the card, she makes the appointment and explains in hilarious detail what she will and won’t do to the operator.
Mac is a doctor by day and Dom by night. He’s used to teaching newbie sub’s a thing or two about their pleasure and how much they can take. What he didn’t count on was finding the perfect sub and partner for life. When he encounters Aria for the first time, he immediately knows that she is the one for him. Perfect in every way. Petite, reminds him of a fairy and loves her wit and intellect.
The scenes between Aria and Mac are beyond hot and steamy but also very tender and loving. The shower scene is the best one for me. It shows Mac’s ability to lend Aria some control, at least in my opinion. He didn’t take too lightly that she was gonna walk out on him and never see him again. The dialogue between the two is spot on and spicy without being crude. I know that some in the lifestyle will not like the book and call it “BDSM lite” but that’s what the book is about. A newbie sub and her Dom, learning and teaching other the power of trust and possibly love.
I highly recommend Naughty Nature. Aria and Mac will touch your hearts and maybe your funny bone, too. Take a chance on your naughty side. You know you want to.
I’ll immediately snatch your rss feed as I can not find your e-mail subscription link or newsletter service. Do you have any? Kindly allow me know so that I may just subscribe. Thanks.
Great review! I loved Allie's posts on the BDSM club. They were hilarious.
Thank you Tess for the compliment. I try to put a little something extra in a review. Especially if the author has blogged/talked/tweeted about the book/characters before. I really think it brings something to the review and let's the reader know that yes, I actually did read the book and enjoyed it.
Allie definitely has a wonderful sense of humor and it translates well into her writing.
I really enjoy the insight you bring to each review. Not just a typical review, but a review that actually tells readers about the book.
Thanks so much!
Thanks everyone, this one was a complete 180 for me writing wise. A new experience I'll remember forever!
I think this is my favorite of Allie's books. I haven't read them all yet, but I am working on it. Her humour is a definite plus and I, too, highly recommend her blog about her adventures at the club. Hilarious! Her Most Beautious, Sparkly Royal/Majesty/Emperor/Princess/World Leader, the Gracious and Benevolent is a must-read for me.

Thanks for sharing this, Harlie!
I LOVE the doctor's business card in the very personal place…yummm!
Will need to check this out!
Awww I'm blushing, but thrilled you liked it, Harlie! After my visit to the club my respect for those in the lifestyle has reached new heights. These men and women are completely open, honest in owning their desires and needs. If only the rest of the world could follow their example of honesty.
Looks like a great book. The review sold me, that's for sure.
😉
Thank you. Come back often.
Very cool blog!
