The Moroccan air is just what Tanya needs when it comes to getting over partner, and former lover, Eric, but an emergency at the New York office interrupts her business trip causing Tanya to take a last minute flight back to the States.
Rone is hard edged, controlling, and intense. His boyfriend Josh is sex appeal and puppy-dog eyes. When the two men join Tanya for the best intercontinental flight she has ever had, she has to ask, Eric who?
“I’m going to my room. Do you want to come?”
He stood, smoothed out his jacket, and grabbed the bottle of vodka. “Lead on.”
Her heart skipped a beat, and her breathing resumed. Standing with equal alacrity, she headed down the hallway. Once they were both inside, he dwarfed the room making the space even smaller. Her head didn’t even reach his chin.
She took the bottle from his grip, careful not to brush against him as she slipped past, and stood near the bed. Guess I found something to keep me occupied for the flight, after all. After taking a swig from the bottle, she asked, “Can I take your jacket?”
Shrugging it off, he handed it to her, offering a nice view of his white shirt and bulging biceps. He rolled up his shirtsleeves revealing large forearms, devoid of hair. Her mouth watered at that small hint of bare skin.
She laid the jacket over the arm of the chair, and they approached each other, ending up close, their bodies not quite touching. He smelled like scotch and aftershave, a sexy combination. She gazed up into his crystal green eyes and waited for him to kiss her.
He stopped a breath from her mouth. “I know what you want.” He had to hear her heart beating. Breathing grew low on the list of priorities as his words caressed her lips. “I have one demand in order for us to do this.” He trailed his fingers across her cheek to the clip that held her hair in place and tugged it free, where it cascaded to the middle of her back.
She swallowed, trying not to lean into his touch or drool on him. “Okay. What?”
He ran his thumb across her cheek to her lips and rubbed the bottom one, adding to the seductive spell he wove. “My partner has to join us.”
Welcome Monica Corwin! Please start off by telling us a little about yourself.
Well, I am a very busy person, dividing my time between writing, working full time, school, and my 5-month-old daughter. I love to write, read, relax, and just have fun with life.
Is Mile High Menage a single title, or part of a series?
This title is a single title but there are a few connections with others I’ve written. Rone and Josh’s first meeting will be released in an anthology from Breathless Press later this year and Tonya’s ex-boyfriend, the one that cheats, is in his own story released with Ravenous Romance, it’s called Forbidden Attraction.
What were your inspirations for the story?
Basically just the idea of a ménage and an article about luxury hotel like suites in airplanes these days. I don’t know how that connected but, obviously, it worked.
Please share your setting for Mile High Menage. Have you ever lived or visited there? If so, what did you like most?
The setting is an airplane; I have flown but not like these characters. They are all rich and steeped in luxury. I have also never been a member of the Mile High Club but hope to make if before I die.
When did the writing bug first bite?
For this story? After I got my new typewriter. In general? Once I joined the Army and needed an escape from all the men. I started writing as a way to be a woman on my own time and because no one had written the book I wanted.
Who are you favorite authors, book/series?
That’s like asking a person their favorite dessert…ALL OF THEM. Okay, really, I love The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley, The Black Jewels Series by Anne Bishop, The Kushiel Series by: Jacqueline Carey, The Southern Vampire Series by: Charlene Harris, The Sweet Series by: Maya Banks, Immortals After Dark by: Kresley Cole. I could really go on for days but these are a few of my top books.
If you could have an author roundtable discussion with any authors, who would you invite?
Oh man, Richard Castle (heh), Edgar Allan Poe, Jay Asher, Kresley Cole, P.C. Cast and probably Elizabeth Gilbert. Just a great mix to have fun conversations. Harlie here: Name me one person that wouldn’t WANT Richard Castle?! *sigh*
Do you have any hobbies or special things you like to do in your spare time?
Writing is about the only hobby I have time for. When I get burned out on writing I cross stitch. It’s a great mindless way to stay creative but just relax.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve heard or seen?
Well, I spent 7 years in the Army, I’ve seen a lot. Hmm…well, while I was stationed in Korea I saw a lot of strange. I went a mudfest, which is an annual celebration of mud in the summer in Korea. Spent the weekend on the beach, sand EVERYWHERE, and saw police officers, in Capri pants, on duty, drinking a 40 of beer while they busted people in the water after dark. It was pretty hilarious.
Okay peeps! The Edge Series by Decadent Publishing is one of the best. Don’t miss out. Pick one up today. You won’t be sorry.
