Liberty’s Review of All of Me by Cardeno Co.

Bonded by their parents before they were conceived, wolf shifters Abel and Kai adored each other since they were children. As teens, the two future Alphas took the next step in their bonding process and vowed to remain true to one another until Kai came of age. But when tragedy struck, Abel felt betrayed and ran from Kai instead of completing their mating.

Abel never stops yearning for the man who was supposed to lead by his side and after years without contact, Kai returns, broken and on death’s door. If Abel wants to fulfill their destiny and merge their packs, he’ll need to look past what he saw and trust his heart.

Being a lover of all things Shifter and most certainly of wolf Shifters, I was licking my chops to begin reading All of Me and in many ways I was not at all disappointed.I loved the way our author would take us back in time so we could see and hear exactly what had happened, at least from that person’s perspective.  We also got the raw, unfiltered feelings that went with those occasions as well ~ good or bad ~ and they were such an important touch to the development of the story line.  Abel was a well-developed character, whose anger, pain and frustration were almost palpable to me.  When Kai’s bratty younger sister shows up on Abel’s doorstep to get his attention and the story does a 180 degree turn.The sex is intense, explicit and sexy and the love that goes with it is equally so.  Though I thought there was a bit of a Star Trek ending, there is so much potential story here.  With all of the primary and secondary characters, as well as the events that occurred before, during and after the book, this could easily become a series if there is interest and Cardeno feels so inspired.  Whatever the case, this was most certainly one of the fabulous HEA’s that CC is so well known for.
