A KILTED CHRISTMAS WISH is a sexy, contemporary novella of about 20,000 words, available for .99 cents.

Down on her luck with men, Darla Strider wonders if she’ll ever meet her own kilted hero. Considering she lives in present day New York City, the likelihood of that happening is nil. She’s certain only a Christmas wish could make her dreams come true. Until the day Aaron Sutherland walks into her café, and changes her whole world.

Leaving his pain in Scotland for life in the States, the last thing Aaron has in mind is hooking up with a city girl. But one look at Darla and she’s got him singing All I Want for Christmas is You.

Last Minute Christmas Shopping Tips
I am a sporadic Christmas shopper… Sometimes I buy a few things throughout the year, sometimes I start in November and work my way toward Christmas, and other years, it hits me the week before Christmas that I need to get my act in gear!

This year, was more of an in-between, but I have a few things I’m going to have to brave the insanity for next week! My fear factor is high, folks. I’m telling you, Christmas Mall shopping is not fun. And I’ve put it off long enough that I will be right in the thick of it…

Something like this:

To avoid the crazy, if you’re a last minute shopper like me, here are some tips!
• Make a list – dash in, dash out
• DON’T BROWSE!
• Arrive when the store first opens
• Do not go during the following hours: lunch-time, 3:30-7pm
• If you can, avoid malls and superstores (they are the most crazy!)
• Bring water and a snack…and maybe a stress ball
• Strap small children into carts, strollers, leashes or just wait until you can go without them!
• Arrive early so you can park close if you have to make multiple trips to the car for drop-offs.
• Bring a bag-carrier! Like a spouse 🙂
