Mixing business with pleasure never felt so right.
Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney were roommates in college and could never see eye to eye about anything. The only time their walls came down was during one night of passion before Ana left without a word, never expecting to cross paths with Blake again.
Years later, Blake has made his millions. He comes back to Ana’s small California town to manage a corporate takeover that will close down the home restoration business she’s poured her heart and soul into. The fiery Ana is determined to convince money-minded Blake of her business’s worth, but when a family emergency throws them together, their walls come tumbling down once again…
Problem is, Blake’s business-first position hasn’t changed. And Ana can’t fall for the man who could become her boss—it’s not only her job at stake, but her heart.

Welcome Annie Please start off by telling us a little about yourself.
I live on the edge of the South Pacific Ocean on the east coast of Australia with my own hero of many years. I am fulfilling her lifelong dream of writing, and have been delighted to discover that readers love reading my stories as much as I love writing them.
Is Tangling with the CEO a single title, or part of a series?
Tangling with the CEO is Book 1 of a 3 Book Series called the Half Moon Bay Series
What were your inspirations for the story?
My grandchildren gave me the idea for the first scene, and then Blake the businessman popped into my head. I wanted a heroine who was a different to him as she could possibly be and I enjoyed Ana’s creation
Please share your setting for Tangling with the CEO. Have you ever lived or visited there? If so, what did you like most?
I visited Half Moon Bay last year and I fell in love with the whole coast line. All of the places in the book (with the exception of the fictional little town called Nebitton) are places I visited. I loved Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Book 2 is set there in an art gallery.
When did the writing bug first bite?
Many years ago, but career, family, and home intervened before I came late to writing when I retired (young!)
Who are you favorite authors, book/series?
Nora Roberts… all of her book but I adore the Chesapeake Bay series and the Donovan series. I reread them every year.
If you could have an author roundtable discussion with any authors, who would you invite?
Ian Rankin… I love his Scottish books, Bella Andre… she is amazing, and of course, Nora Roberts.
Do you have any hobbies or special things you like to do in your spare time?
I love growing flowers and vegetables, and spend a lot of time in my garden.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve heard or seen?
It was something I did. When I was at work, I was very busy one day and not concentrating and I tried to make a phone call with a stapler and a calculator. True! I put the black stapler to my ear and tried to press the buttons on the calculator. I think my secretary is still laughing!
Cotton or Silk?
Sigh… I have moved to being a plotter. My editor makes me…
