Oh.my.word. What a short, sexy read that I needed right now. Yes, it’s short. The sex is hot but more importantly, it’s based on a true story. Without giving too much away, it starts with an online dating profile and blooms from there. I loved that JC writes this story in 1st person. I like this POV for a number of reasons but for the purpose of this review, I’ll just say that right now, I don’t want Papi’s version. I need to hear it from Julie. This is her journey, her awakening, and her words.

I will admit that this is the first book that I have read from JC. The story flows, there is some humor, heartbreak, and hope. Word of caution, this book ends in a cliffhanger. I know, I hate cliffhangers but with this story, it needs to be continued and I can’t wait to read it. Great job JC. I can’t wait to hear more from Julie and Papi.
