When different worlds collide…

…sparks fly!

With her family name on the line, wedding planner Bianca Bartolini needs this royal wedding to go perfectly—she can’t afford distractions. Too bad the bride’s dashing brother has other plans! Duty-bound Crown Prince Leo has mere weeks to announce his own engagement, but none of the candidates measure up to Bianca. They’re the most unlikely match, but might that just make them perfect for one another?

Do you know what I hate about starting a new series?  While the HEA is given, there are still some loose threads that aren’t resolved and now, I wait impatiently for the next book.  Grrr…But I forgive Ms. Faye.  She has written a great book with characters that I actually liked.  Plus, the loose thread is a real doozy.  And yes, Bianca doesn’t need the distraction of Leo but it sure is nice.

What Ms. Faye brings to the table this time is her ability to make royalty feel like everyday people.  They have trouble with parents, resentment towards a parent that has died and the repercussions with the death of the parent.  Plus, trying to please a sibling while keeping the peace.  It’s tall order but Leo manages it.  Not to mention wooing Bianca.  Bianca, on the other hand, is dealing with your siblings and the death of their parents.  Their will is tied to the thread that will be around throughout the series.  I feel really bad for Bianca in the beginning.  Finding the diary and then the whole will reading…and then getting the wedding of the year to plan?  Wow.  Just wow.

I loved Leo and Bianca as a couple.  They are sweet together and compliment each other.  There is a bit of a communication problem for a time but Ms. Faye doesn’t drag it out and they hash it out like adults.  Bianca needs a little more convincing about the relationship and I completely understand her concerns.  She has so much riding on Leo’s sister’s wedding and then dealing with the unknown at home and with her siblings, that would send anyone not wanting a relationship.

I can’t wait to read the other two books in the series.  I will miss the Queen and how she deals with Bianca and Leo’s relationship but upward and onward.  Again, Ms. Faye has written a beautiful book about two characters that you will like and want to keep in touch with.  I just wish I didn’t have to wait.
