BLURB:

The Greek gods of desire are skilled at satisfying the erotic needs of mortals who cross their path. But where do the gorgeous erotes turn for sexual healing when loneliness strikes at each eternal yet world-weary heart?

Together for the first time in one anthology collection, these three critically acclaimed novellas show that even the gods themselves are not immune from the influence of love.

Platinum Passion

A night of ménage a trois passion will change three lives forever. Jeannie and Jake’s platinum anniversary becomes an unforgettable experience when Pothos, god of sexual yearning, steps in to save their twenty-year marriage.

Excerpt Platinum Passion:

He shivered in need, reaching down to stroke himself through the silken material.

I want Jeannie. I want…more.

His vision blurred and he shook his head to clear it, and then realized he was not alone on the beach after all.

Fuck! Impossible to hide this boner. His hand instantly shifted away from his cock.

He could see the silhouette of a man and a woman standing further up the curve of the coastline, hand in hand, ankle deep in water by the looks of things. But then he frowned. Were they…surely they weren’t…naked? That would be too weird, given the nature of his latest fantasy. He took a hesitant step forward, then stopped, cheeks flushing with embarrassment. Hell. They were. And the guy had a hard on even bigger than his own.

Clearly, they wouldn’t want anyone else raining on their privacy parade right about now. He turned to leave, but as he did so the couple held out their arms toward him, gesturing, and something about the woman, the way she stood, the way she flicked her hand in a come-to-me type gesture, the way she tilted her head just that little bit to the right…

No way. “Jeannie?” His voice came out on a squeak of amazement and there was no chance she could have heard him, but he saw her nod and gesture again. Thank God this was a dream, or he’d be pretty damn shocked to see her standing naked like that with another man by her side. Ridiculous, he knew, given his recent train of thought, but still…

He took a faltering step toward them, then another, and then with a deep, shuddering breath he began to run toward the couple on the beach.

Toward his beautiful wife and the unfamiliar man with a hard on the size of a baseball bat.

Toward his ultimate sexual fantasy in the flesh.

Review:

I have to admit that I’d read this one before and I still loved it.  I love stories where there is a married couple that realizes that they need to spark up the old sex life.  Ms. Lynne doesn’t disappoint in her story.  Plus, there is the added bonus of Jake’s awakening of what it would be like with a man after all these years.

The writing is tight and the sex is beyond hawt but you can feel the emotions that Jeannie and Jake have for one another.  Pothos never realized what he needed in love and when he was called to Jeannie and Jake, he truly felt his own yearning for the first time.

I highly recommend this little gem about a couple finding the spark in their sex life with the god of yearning that learns a bit about himself and his needs.

Aphrodite Calling

A god of sexual desire on the edge of burnout meets a woman with a unique and secret past…In the arms of transsexual woman Gina, has Himeros finally discovered the one with whom even a god of love could find fulfillment?

Excerpt Aphrodite Calling:

She lifted her hips as he centered himself at her vaginal entrance. The flinch was instinctive; she couldn’t help it, and he paused. “I have enough cum in my balls to sink a ship. I have wanted to try your body ever since I saw you, and the wait has had me leaking juice all evening. It will be a well-lubricated joining, I assure you.”

Her laugh was throaty. “Enough to sink a ship? That actually sounds a little scary.” She let out a squeak as he thrust with his groin and at the same time tightened his grip on her hips, compelling her downward.

The head of his cock was now inside her, and she panted with a mixture of aching pleasure and apprehension. It felt hot, and hard, yet slick at the same time. She wanted him deeper inside, and took a breath before sinking down without any further urging.

Full. Wet. Everything inside stretched so tight she was afraid to move more than a millimeter or two. But oh…my…God…it felt so good to have a real live man inside her, shifting now, slight movements that she could feel deep within her body. The ache was so deep and all consuming that she couldn’t even compare it to the clit orgasm she’d had earlier. This was real, and she was about to fuck as she’d always wanted to, as a woman, with a man who saw her. Really saw her. And it felt so right.

Review:

Can I admit that this one was my favorite?  Yes, my absolute favorite in the series.  Gina is a transgender that has gone back to her class reunion as a female, not the male that she once was and between the snide remarks from her classmate, she wonders if it was a good thing.

Coming to her aid during a confrontation with a classmate is Himeros.  Deciding to play along, Gina and Himeros leave and she’s not sure what to think of him, the situation and what he is offering?  Can he be real enough for her?

*sigh*  These two were so lonely but for completely different reasons and the coming together was emotional and heartfelt.  I can not imagine what it was like for Gina to finally have “real” sex with a man and the emotions that she felt but Ms. Lynne did a great job of conveying her emotions to me as a reader.  Great job!

Don’t be put off by the taboo subject matter regarding Gina.  Again, Ms. Lynne does a wonderful job of explaining her plight.  There is a bit of voyeriouism in this one and its a doozy.  Its been one of the best scenes that I’ve read in awhile.

Highly recommended and you will thank me later.  😉

Sex Club Secrets

Sometimes love can flourish in the most unexpected places. Ella and her bisexual best friend Kade meet the erotic god Anteros in a celebrated sex club—but the challenges facing these potential friends-to-lovers could prove too much for the god of requited and unrequited love.

Excerpt Sex Club Secrets:

Helpless. She felt utterly helpless and vulnerable in this crazy position, and it should have had her screaming to get out. In the past it would have. But here in the privacy of this club she felt safer than she had in a long time. There were rules here, and security checks, and the people who came to Secrets would abide by those rules, however unusual or kinky their needs.

She could trust Anteros.

She knew it in her heart, and it gave her the courage to relax into the moment. “If Kade were out there, watching, I wonder if he’d want me right now.”

Anteros laughed, a quiet chuckle that flowed over her skin and left goose bumps as effectively as that feather would, if only he would lean forward and touch its delicate end to her quivering flesh. “Look over there, my girl.” He gestured toward the doorway and she gasped at the sight of the handle turning.

“No, I don’t want anyone else to see—Kade! Um. You’re…Kade.” She must sound like a half-wit, repeating his name over and over, but she couldn’t comprehend that the subject of her imaginings was actually here in the room with them, right at the instant when her fanny was laid out like a Christmas turkey on a plate.

Sweat broke out on her forehead as her whole body flushed dark and she began to struggle against the bindings. “Kade, no, don’t stare at me! Anteros, please. Let me—”

“Shh.” Her dark-skinned companion laid a gentle hand on her ankle. “He is not repulsed. Look at him.”

She couldn’t. It was impossible to meet Kade’s gaze. What would he think to see her trussed up like this? She stared instead at the window, biting her lip and willing herself not to cry. But then he stepped in front of her and his swollen penis was directly in her line of vision. It poked out of the gap in his trousers in a manner that was clearly far from revulsion.

“Do what he says, Ellie. Look at me.” His voice was familiar and gentle, yet the fingers that slipped under her chin and forced her gaze upwards were firm and uncompromising. When she finally looked into his eyes she read the truth in their brilliant depths. Not hazel right now. Green. Like the August birthstone, peridot.

Review:

Now that I’ve admitted my favorite, this one was my least favorite.  While I loved Ellie and Anteros, I didn’t quite it a totally connection with Kade.  He seemed like a spectator to me and not a full on participant.  He didn’t seem that “into” Ellie but more into Anteros and how he, Kade, was going to get off with Anteros.

Kade cared about Ellie and in the end, he did love her but he was a too slow for me to express it to her.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I did like overall but during the scenes at the club, I didn’t feel the emotional connection with Ellie.

The club scenes were well written and the inner thoughts of Ellie were good.  She needed to trust Anteros after what she gone through in her life and her emotions were justified and the end of the scene was great.

Again, overall its not my favorite but the ending with Anteros was O.M.G. WOW!  I’ll be reading book #4 very soon.
